　　Teacher's Education Branch of National Association of High Education (abbreviated as National Association of Teacher's Education), founded on September 25, 2003, is a non-governmental academic association focusing on educational research. Ms. Li Ma, the Chairwoman of the China Award Foundation for Teachers of Pre-school, Primary and Seconday School, the former Director of the Normal Education Department of the Ministry of Education is elected to be the Association Director; Mr. Shiqu Zheng Vice president of Beijing Normal University, is elected to Association Persident Vice Director and Secretary-General. At the foundation ceremony, it received congratulatory letters from Ding Shisun and Xu Jialu, Vice Chief-commissioner of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress; from Chen Zhili, the State Councillor of the State Council of the People's Republic of China; and from Zhou Ji, the Minister of Ministry of Education. It also received attention and support from other related departments.
　　The National Association of Teacher's Education is a non-governmental academic organization for K-12 teachers and educators. Within three years, nearly 1000 teachers, educators, education experts and school principals from more than 500 normal universities, education research institutes and administrative organizations for education became members of the Association.
　　Tenet of Teacher's Education Branch
　　Under the direction of the Ministry of Education, the National Association of Higher Education, guided by Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, and "Three Represents" important thought, executing the education policies and "Two Hundreds Policy" made by Chinese Communist Party, adhering to the principle of theory combined with practice, organizing and holding together teachers, education researchers, and other teaching staff who are devoted to the research of teacher's education and administration. We aim at promoting Chinese teacher's professional development by studying the problems in teacher's education and administration, disseminating and spreading useful experience, and exploring scientific methods.
　　Mission of Teacher's Education Branch
　　1.To implement the Ministry of Education's policy of the concerning teaching staff, to conduct academic research concerning teacher's education and to solve problems in administrative theory and practice, to accelerate the development in educational areas;
　　2.To collaborate with governmental educational administrative departments, conduct surveys, research, evaluation, and to provide materials for democratic and scientific decision-making on educational policies;
　　3.To organize seminar and conferences about teacher's education and administration;
　　4.To organize and promote the development of technical works, textbooks, and online resources about teacher's educationa and administration;
　　5.To provide professional training and consulting services.
　　6.To organize competitions and presentations of teacher's education research.
